White Heart...Black Lace

I don't wish to be a stigma,
On someone else's happiness.

But I have already become a dark cloud,
In someone's life.

Wearing a black gown,
I go where children should not.

Now that I have interrupted someone's happiness,
I cannot wear a heart of white.

As I raise my dress and run barefoot through the snow,
I weep.
